To run an online business you don't need to be a tech expert, but you do need to have at least some website editing knowledge.

Here's the easiest way to get started:

There's something called WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) html editor. Basically, there is a graphical interface and you type text and add tables, colors etc, and behind the scenes there is html code being generated for you.

As you go along, you can see webpages' source code to see how they do things so you can keep learning. You can do that by going to "View" and then "Source" in Internet explorer for any website you would like. (Few exceptions are php pages but don't worry about it)

Here are some good WYSIWYG html editors.

-Microsoft Frontpage
-Macromedia Dreamweaver

Those 2 are good but quite expensive so if you don't have them, here's a free alternative which is awesome and very easy to use.

I highly recommend you get this website builder that simplifies all tasks when it comes to building your website, as well as your whole online business from scratch.

As I said, with an html editor you don't have to be an html expert, as most of the code is being generated behind the scenes for you. Often times, it would help a lot to tweak some html by hand though.

Here are some example html tutorials that will help you a lot.

This is an ongoing learning process. You won't learn everything at once, but you should start learning immediately, and you'll get better as you go.

I will keep saying this until it's embedded in your brain. Don't wait for everything to be perfect. It will never be. Tomorrow will never come. Stop procrastinating, and start doing something. You can always improve on it later.
